From ambition to decisions
What this day is about
You get a process, a recommendation, and a signature at the end of it. The analysis arrives faster and looks more certain than it is, while the responsibility stays exactly where it always was.
Every organization we work with is somewhere in this right now. A system gets introduced, a governance framework gets written, a team gets told. Somewhere between those three things, ownership goes missing.
So this day doesn't ask whether you use AI. It asks who is actually in charge: in the boardroom, in the team, at your own desk. Even the people who aren't at the wheel shape how a decision turns out.
You leave with a clear picture of how other organizations decide these things, which is hard to read up on and easy to use the week after.

Who this day is for
You have a say in where and how AI is used in your organization, and you want to see how others decide under uncertainty.
You're implementing AI in your team, or you need to raise concerns without stalling the process.
You care about what judgment and responsibility mean when the analysis already comes from the machine.
How the day works
Doors open at 8 AM, we start at 9 AM and finish at 5 PM (CET). What happens in between follows the same rule every time. The full agenda, with speakers and session titles, follows in the coming weeks.
You start by doing something, not by being presented to. Every input in the day lands on an experience you already had that morning.
The afternoon runs in parallel working groups of 20 to 25. No audience seating, no back row, and you choose where you go.
Lunch and several breaks through the day, none of them scheduled. No table topics, no rotation. The best conversations at a Growth Day happen by accident, and these are the hours we stop planning so they can.
New contacts from organizations working on the same questions, and ideas concrete enough to try in your own team the week after.

What you'll be working on
This isn't a day of listening. You work the questions in the room, with people who answer them in their own organizations every week. The hardest one is usually the third: when the model was confident and wrong, and nobody wrote down who signed off.
We build the day with EY, who work on exactly this with organizations across industries, and who bring data on how listed companies actually report on their AI use and their governance.
The venue

We pick locations that are part of the story. In Munich we're guests at EY, where exactly these decisions get advised on every day, which makes it a fitting room to argue about them in. EY builds this day with us: they develop the simulation case and bring the data from real organizations. They're also an ada Fellowship partner with their own Fellows in the program, so parts of the community already know the people you'll meet there.

Former program participants who want to stay connected, and ada Shift participants whose program Growth Day was Düsseldorf. Alumni bring experience from their own ada journey and contribute to the quality of the room.
Professionals who buy a ticket independently, not through a program, but because they want to be in the room. They come with the same motivation as everyone else: to exchange ideas with people from other organizations, to think through a topic together, and to leave with something concrete.
No. There are three ways in. Active Fellows join as part of their program. Alumni and ada Shift participants can buy a ticket for 150 € net. And if you want to come without a program or as an ada Flow member: Growth Passes are available as individual tickets. First come, first serve.
A co-created Growth Day is built closely with a partner organization. Their real challenge is the starting point. ada builds the agenda around it and involves people from the partner as content contributors.
No specific level required. Growth Days bring together people at very different points in their AI journey: some are part of an AI excellence team, some build workflows every day, others are just starting to ask the right questions. The format is built around that mix. The most useful conversations tend to happen between people at different stages, not between those who already know the same things.
