What a Growth Day is

For everyone who wants to leave with more than a good feeling.

Not a conference. Not a networking event. Six things that define how a Growth Day works.

Expert input that opens something up.

One or two speakers chosen for real substance and the ability to have a conversation. Ask Me Anything is the format, not a one-way broadcast. Every speaker has something they have actually done, not just something they present.

Exchange that only happens here.

In the room: people from more than 30 organizations, from industries that rarely come together. Cross-company exchange from the first minute. What emerges cannot be replicated inside your own organization.

Transfer, built in from the start.

Every agenda includes active phases where you act yourself instead of just listening. These include reflection exercises in pairs, group work, or role-playing scenarios. The focus is always on the concrete transfer of the learned content into your daily work routine.

Location as part of the content.

We deliberately go to places where change is actually happening. Not convention centers. Real venues of organizations in the middle of it themselves. When a partner co-creates the day with us, their space becomes part of the program.

Peer relationships that last beyond the day.

Guided check-ins. Cross-company work sessions. Get-togethers before or after the event. The connections formed at Growth Days will last long after the day is over.

When we build a Growth Day with a partner, the partner is a co-designer. Their challenge is the starting point. Their people are part of the content. Not a branded showcase.

A day in practice

Every Growth Day is different. Here is how it works.

Each agenda is built from scratch, with a lot of care for detail. Three elements stay constant.

01 — Impulse

Expert input that opens the day up.

Every Growth Day begins with people who have genuinely engaged with the topic and can place it in context, practically and critically. Not a traditional keynote. More like a well-prepared conversation that gives everyone a shared starting point, and enough friction to keep thinking.

02 — AcTIVITIES

Formats that connect people.

There are moments in the day built specifically so people connect with each other. Not by accident, but by design. A drum session. A networking walk. A guided check-in at the start. The format changes every time. The intention stays the same.

03 — Deep Dives

Space to go further.

Parallel tracks or smaller group sessions where participants go deeper on one aspect of the topic. Not a lecture format. A working format. The goal: leave with something concrete, a thought, a method, a next step, that is actually useful on Monday morning.

Do I need to be part of an ada program to attend?

No. There are three ways in. Active participants in ada Fellowship and ada Shift attend as part of their program. Alumni can buy a ticket for EUR 150. And if you want to come without a program connection or as ada Flow member: Growth Passes are available as individual tickets.

What is a co-created Growth Day?

A co-created Growth Day is built closely with a partner organization. Their real challenge is the starting point. ada builds the agenda around it and involves people from the partner as content contributors.

What is the difference between a Growth Day and a conference?

A conference is designed for a passive audience. A Growth Day is designed for people who want to leave with something concrete. Every agenda has moments where you do something, not just listen. The last program point is always the same: what do you try this week?

My organization is not yet an ada partner. Can we attend or co-create?

Yes. A Growth Day is one of the most direct ways to experience ada. If co-creation interests you, reach out. We will tell you honestly whether the fit is right and what it would look like.

What level of AI knowledge do I need?

No specific level required. Growth Days bring together people at very different points in their AI journey: some are part of an AI excellence team, some build workflows every day, others are just starting to ask the right questions. The format is built around that mix. The most useful conversations tend to happen between people at different stages, not between those who already know the same things.

I'm an ada Flow subscriber. Is a Growth Day included?

Not automatically. Flow gives you access to virtual community events, live workshops, and webinars. Growth Days are in-person and require a separate ticket. One exception: every ada Shift contract includes one Growth Day ticket. As a Flow subscriber, you can buy a Growth Pass when places are available.
